.: World Outside :.

"World Outside" was taken of me looking outside my bedroom window. It was shot using an aperture of 2.8 and a shutter speed of 1/160. My gaze is supposed to create Implied leading lines. I used levels to create a bit more contrast and used the burn tool to brighten some things outside the window. I also removed a small scar on my nose by using the patch tool.

    implied lines
I think the real implied line is the camera that is pointing out the window. To make the implied line more about your line of sight, as you state in your description, you need to come a little closer to your own face. There is a lot of empty space shown with a lot of glare from the sun and the blind that comes down and distracts from the line of gaze. :>

  3. Element: Lines
    Principle: Contrast

I love the implied line that i see from your gaze out the window :) and the line that the window shade creates a nice line across the top of the picture. I could almost see this being rule of thirds as well with the window shade being the top third and your face being the right third.

I think putting some more contrast maybe even just a bit more would help it :)
